Sienna
My sensitive toy poodle, Sienna, developed a stress related condition of obsessive paw-licking, resulting in nasty lesions on her front paws. This compulsive stress driven behaviour was extremely difficult to cope with and proved to be a real challenge to try and curb.
In desperation I tried numerous medications and methods to break the pattern and improve her condition, knowing that it was a psychologically-rooted problem.
I turned to Beth for help and have been amazed by the extremely positive results of her therapeutic canine massage.
Beth’s knowledge and in-depth experience and healing touch have most certainly assisted in calming Sienna. The regular massage sessions have been hugely beneficial to Sienna’s mental and physical well-being.

Beth also prescribed and provided Dr Bach Flower Remedies for both Sienna and myself. I must say that I can personally feel the difference and now feel better equipped to manage Sienna’s condition.
Both Sienna and myself have benefited from Beth’s professional knowledge and application of her treatments. I can honestly say that my little dog and myself are happier beings!

Sam Jennings
"Thank you so much for all your help and support.
Sam is definitely not limping as much as before.
Both the hydrotherapy and your massage are
helping him a great deal. This afternoon, he
even came upstairs to the bedroom on his own...
which he has not done for over 6 weeks now."

Chloe
"Chloe had major surgery on her right front leg at four months old and subsequently three further operations. We were recommended to Beth for post operative massage and it has certainly helped. Two months later she only has a slight limp and is running around as if nothing had happened. We would certainly recommend Beth’s massage skills to anyone whose pet needs post surgical recovery."

Woody
"I first met Beth at the SPCA tent at the Champ annual WagnWalk held in Milford, Auckland, on 17th October, 2009. My retriever / border collie cross dog, Woody, was exhausted when we reached the finish line of that event’s 3K dog walk. He benefited greatly from the short massage Beth gave him there. He certainly needed all the help he could get for he was suffering from an aggressive form of oral cancer that had taken its toll on him over the previous few months. (Granted, at the time of the WagnWalk, his health had slightly improved due to homeopathic treatment he had been on for two weeks).

Woody relaxed with Beth’s massaging, and she generously extended her time with him for free. (I had paid $2 for a five minute massage). Beth also gave Woody some Reiki healing around his mouth and glands.
Back at home the next day, Woody seemed a little better. So I contacted Beth to give him more massage sessions at our home in Takapuna. All in all, she gave him four one hour treatments over the course of several months. Through her gentle work, which supplemented the marvelous homeopathic treatment he was on, that oral cancer in Woody’s mouth retracted. Finally – amazingly – it disappeared!
I can’t thank Beth enough for her gentle, talented and professional ability as a dog massage therapist. (Before one of her visits, she even phoned Woody’s homeopathic vet to enquire if he was well enough for her to do a lymphatic drainage massage on him. That particular massage helped clear the toxins from Woody’s body. She also located an old strain near his back, and, over time, gently reduced the pain in that area).
Looking at Woody now (he’s almost ten years) one would never guess how sick he has been. He has put back the weight he lost when the cancer was at its most virulent, his coat is glossy, his flexibility much improved, his energy back to how it should be. Thanks, thanks, thank you, Beth."

Pepe
Pepe is the name of our well loved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He was 15 years young when over a period of about two months the spring disappeared from his step. His back went from straight to hunched and he avoided being handled. When his appetite reduced we knew things were really serious because any weight loss for a senior dog might never be recovered.
We took him to the vet who said that we should be grateful for the time we enjoyed with Pepe but to prepare for the end. As a final treat we took Pepe to Stardogs and it was there we spotted the KarmaK9 advertisement. We immediately arranged an appointment for Beth to visit us at home. In the first session she manipulated Pepe’s spine so that he could again feel comfortable lying in his basket.

"Over further visits Beth massaged and manipulated the whole body to remove skin attachments, boost blood circulation and improve muscle and joint flexibility. Pepe returned to his old self. He went back to two hour bush walks and full appetite. He started sleeping more soundly than he had done in years."

Lenin
"Lenin has been attending some massages with Beth for his injured back and leg and has responded really well infact after his last massage we had a 3 hour expedition through Eskdale reserve, him chasing a duck on the wing, me chasing him. So he is definitely on the mend. He is quite an aloof little dog normally but will happily sit or lie down while Beth works on him."

Bonham
"Bonham looks forward to Beth coming to massage her.
Before she is even in the door, she presents her self
by pushing her body close in, sits down with her
back towards her and looks over her shoulder
as if to say, I’m ready, begin."

Lola & Pipa
"My German Shepherds Lola and Pippa are really active dogs,
sometimes too active for their own good! Beth’s dog massages
are a real treat for them both. It’s not just the physical effect of the massages that’s powerful. Beth has a special connection with
animals – when our dogs see Beth, they immediately sit at her
feet awaiting Beth’s magic hands."
